Bath

Bath is a pictureque city in Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths. The city is located at the southern tip of the Cotswolds, and is often called the "gateway to the Cotswolds". Most of Bath's buildings are Georgian in style, and made from the local, golden-coloured, Bath Stone. Some of the most photographed architecture in Bath includes Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, and the Royal Crescent. I visited Bath for 2 nights in August 2021 as part of my Staycation Road Trip.

Z Hotel

On my visit to Bath, I stayed at the budget-friendly Z Hotel, which is located in the heart of the city.

The Fashion Museum

The Fashion Museum Bath is one of the world's great museum collections of historic and contemporary dress.

Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein

In 1816, whilst living in Bath, Mary Shelley wrote much of the world's first science fiction novel, Frankenstein. The Mary Shelley's House od Frankenstein is a museum full of intriguing oddities and rare items that document Frankenstein as a cultural sensation.

The Jane Austin Centre

The Jane Austen Centre features a permanent exhibition that tells the story of Bath's most famous resident, the author Jane Austen.

Thermae Bath Spa

The Thermae Bath Spa is an award winning, luxury spa in the heart of the city. The main feature of the Thermae Bath Spa is its spectacular rooftop pool, which provides the best views of Bath.

Roman Baths

The Roman Baths are well-preserved thermae in the city of Bath, Somerset, England. A temple was constructed on the site between 60 and 70 AD in the first few decades of Roman Britain. Its presence led to the development of the small Roman urban settlement known as Aquae Sulis around the site.

These are just some of the places I have visited and recommend in Bath.
