New Zealand


New Zealand is somewhere that seems to be on everyones bucket list, and it's very easy to see why! New Zealand is a remote, mountainous group of islands located off the southeast coast of Australia. It's known all over the world as a wonderland for outdoor adventure and culture.




Ngataki Retreat Glamping At Its Finest

Ninety Mile Beach


Ninety Mile Beach is an 88 mile expanse of golden sand on the western coast of the far north of the North Island of New Zealand.

The Great Exhibition Bay is one of New Zealand's most beautiful remote beaches. It is a secluded paradise which boasts miles of pristine, powder-soft white sand that glistens brightly under the sun. Rarawa Beach is located at the southern end of Great Exhibition Bay.




New Chums Beach


New Chums Beach is a beach in the Wainuiototo Bay on the northeast coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand, near Whangapoua.




Auckland


Auckland is New Zealand's largest city with a population of 1.6 million people, and is the centre of the country's retail and commercial activities. Auckland is a good base for exploring the North Island.

The Hobbiton Movie Set is a significant location which was used in both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. Hobbiton was a village in the central regions of The Shire.




Rotorua


Rotorua, a town set on its namesake lake on New Zealand's North Island, is renowned for its geothermal activity and Maori culture.




Mitai Maori Village


The Mitai Maori Village Mitai is one of the best places in Rotorua to get an authentic Maori experience.




Christchurch


Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand. Christchurch has a reputation for being an English city, with its architectural identity and nickname of the 'Garden City'.

Akaroa


Akaroa is a charming village on the wonderful Banks Penninsula, on the South Island of New Zealand. Many of the buildings in the town were constructed by French settlers and retain their European designs from the 19th century.




Pōhatu


Pōhatu has the largest Little (Fairy) penguin colony on mainland New Zealand.




Millford Sound


Milford Sound is a fiord in New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for towering Mitre Peak, rainforests and waterfalls.




Lake Tekapo


Lake Tekapo is a breathtaking destination in the heart of New Zealand's South Island. It's known for its stunning turquoise waters, and vibrant lupin flowers which bloom every spring. Lake Tekapo is also a popular spot for stargazing.




The Cook Islands


The Cook Islands is a tropical island paradise nation in the South Pacific, with political links to New Zealand. The largest island, Rarotonga, is home to rainforests, rugged mountains and Avarua -the national capital. The most well-known island is Aitutaki which has a vast lagoon encircled by coral reefs and small, sandy islets. The country is renowned for its many snorkeling and scuba-diving sites.




Rarotonga


Rarotonga is the largest of the Cook Islands, a nation of 15 islands in the central South Pacific. Rarotonga is a hidden gem for travelers seeking a tropical paradise. It's known for its friendly people, volcanic peaks, lush rainforests, and pristine white beaches.




Little Polynesian Resort


The Little Polynesian Resort is the perfect romantic haven in paradise. The resort is located on the white sands of Titikaveka beach. I would love to stay at the resort.




Aitutaki


Aitutaki is one of the Cook Island's most beautiful destinations and it is home to one of the world's most spectacular lagoons.




Aitutaki Lagoon Resort


Exclusively situated on its own private island, the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort is a luxury retreat which offers the only overwater bungalows in the Cook Islands.




These are just some of the places I would like to visit in the New Zealand and the Cook Islands.
